What the %$^% is with prices on e-stand?

I realize the e-stand is a good place to sell "original" items but I must confess I think many sellers are way out there on price. Not to mention some of the very questionable and outright reproductions that I have seen recently while looking to buy a few items on my want list. Honestly, I think some of these items should be booted when the come up.

Sorry if I seem critical, but I just don't get it

Well..."eBay"...the first thing I think you need to understand is that 99 times out of a 100 there are no fake items on the e-stand. If they are fake, any one of the memebers here will spot it quickly and inform a moderator, and the item will be taken down. Further, if you are used to seeing prices like you do on eBay, say for example a double decal M35 for $1,500 then you are most certianly looking at a fake, and everybody knows it. Ebay has an established reputation for not caring what is being sold on its website as long as it doesn't offend a "certian" ethnic group. The reason you are not used to seeing real prices, is because you are probably not used to seeing real helmets. Believe me I was shocked too.

I like your handle. My uncle was a Gebergsjager and was killed a couple of days before the battle of Monte Cassino.

Yes, I suppose if you use the eBay analogy it makes sense. But I am mostly a uniform and headgear collector and just in the past month or so I noticed 3 ugly reproductions for sale but cannot speak for medals sense I am a novice in that area.

Have to love the Gebirgsjäger troops! I luv em'

      (figuratively speaking of course )

If they're still up, post the links. We'll have a look-see.
