The book is great and its a hard back which I wasnt expecting. The pictures are clear and colorful. Actually, every helmet in the book is in color. There are also many clear and extremely rare period photos of the early SS wearing helmets that just make you shiver with desire! Each manufacturer is discussed and there are many tips on ID'ing helmets in different ways. A must if your even remotely interested in helmets!
