I'm considering purchasing this helmet from what I believe to be an honest seller, but still want to make sure especially if I'm going to hand of some decent cash. I've compared it to my Luftwaffe and from what I can tell it is good, would like some other opinions though. Thanks in advance!

Am I seeing correctly that it is missing the chinstrap buckle?
It does seem to be painted over, looking at how the paint is around the decal.
It's better than what I have seen in person, yet not as great as other examples.
By the way, what do complete Single Decal Luftwaffe M1940's sell for these days? Isn't it one of the less expensive combat stahlhelms, next to no decal heer M1942's? (that's what I read from 2 other threads)Comment
