Where do I find info on batch numbers?

I have a M42 NS 68 batch #0001. No decal .

Ken N's book has some good lot number info in the back. I sold my copy so I can't help.

German Helmet Walhalla also has a good database if you are a member.

From the German Helmet W. forum database the lowest M42 NS lot numbers (without letters) are:


3 digits:
M42 603 NS 66 - steel liner

4 digits:
M42 1697 NS 64 SD LW - steel liner

Lowest (68) 4 digits:
M42 2772 NS 68 SD LW - steel liner
