You should come to Italy and attend MilItalia next November...you'll see what one of Europe's biggest crooks, namely M.FISHER OF REGIMENTAL'S FAME has on his table! I hope next time he'll sell a fake to a major Calabrian or Sicilian mobster....he would refuse ten times his money back should he discover the rip-off...he'd make this bastard pay otherwise and make him regret the day he was born!

Come on Manny - tell us what you really mean!

Seriously - can we tell who had the shell in their possession when the "upgrade" was done? We have the before and after pictures - who owned this helmet in between?

What I'm seeing from this dealer doesn't surprise me at all...

Maybe now they will have finally cut their own throats.

I mean that he's one of the most obnoxious crooks known to date!Further....I've seen more camo FJ helmets on his table in the past three years than anywhere else, including the entire WW2!
These people deserve to have their name slendered all over the place!I can understand a dealer/collector selling a fake in bona-fide,apologize and give the money back, but these BASTARDS make top $£€ out of ripping people off with thir junk!

            Compulsive viewing.

To add insult to injury this person is an expert to some auction houses in the UK.

I know little of FJ helmets. Is it an original helmet that had original decals (first photos) that was upgraded?

As a UK collector, and now sticking to German Helmets, I have to wonder where did it go wrong? Years back, Regimentals was THE dealer in the UK that everybody referred to, he was the benchmark, and now??? Well....

Has this been going on for years? Is it only now with the networking that the net offers that we realise we've been getting stitched up for years?

                          doh....

                            Lenny,

The same thing happened here - on this side of the pond our pariah is Manion's.

The scariest thing for me is that the "new" adler looks perfectly fine to me. I hope that this is a case of a real decal being applied to the helmet and that this adler is not a fake in itself. If that is the case, well...back to the drawing board for me.

With Internet images it is not unusual to have difficulty with Luftwaffe decals - were the helm in your hands it would be clear 'at a glance' if the decal is real.
