That is oe really great and amasing helmet! It seems the net is so torn that it is now only holding on by the paint?

Would love to see pictures on natural day light but appears to be a real top shelf camo.
Is the net glued on the shell with the paint?
Any decals under the camo?

Very sorry about the quality of the photos but I had to use a camera phone.

The photos were taken the day before the helmet sold.

It is gone now and I have no idea who owns it.

I got the helmet one Saturday morning while out yard sailing.

I couldn't find a thing so I resorted to talking to anyone.

In Pennbrook, Pa. the firehall was getting ready for a chicken BQ and several men

were out starting the fire.

I figured a bunch of guys maybe someone has something.

I got out of my car and walked up to them.

I asked: Any of you guys ever serve overseas in the service ?

This is exactly what happened and you won't believe it.

One of the men got right in my face and asked: Do you want a German helmet ?

Yes I answered and I drove Jack Putt home.

His basement was a treasure trove with several helmets screwed through the chin

straps to the rafters.

I sold the majority of it at the Max show back in the mid 90's.

All of it is gone now.
