    Helmet Opinions

    Hello,

I would like your opinions on the following helmets. As far as I can tell they look fine, but I would appreciate some expert opinions.

The decal jpgs aren't much bigger than the original, full helmet photos. I'd ask for bigger decal pics first. If they're all real, they are in premo shape.

Some of the prices are pretty insane too...

The first birdie concerns me more than the second. I would definitely ask for more and better pics of the birds. I would not buy them from those pics.

Helmets with double decals in that condition is fabrication IMO.None of those helmets have ever been used during the 3R.maybe for a couple of weeks then stored in a fridge?! - repros definetly I'd say.(or built up from some real parts).
If you want to spend that on a lid I bet you could get real one from here at the estand.
Save your cash, again it's just my opinion......I'm definetly no expert though.

Insanely priced! Colin, the decals can be that pristine, they were (if original ) were not used in combat, thus the niceness or were possibly kept in storage.
This seller is banking on the WWII Craze going around where idiots buy up almost anything because they have a slight interest...I hate those people.

That's funny. I just looked at the Zimmeritt helmet he's selling and had to laugh. Check this out.

If he puts that on his website, I would avoid all helmets in general from his/her site

                          Robb & Chris,

                          Thanks for the instructions.

                          Not cheap!

                            Pat,

Apologies, I did not answer your question but got caught up in price!

I would go against the opinions offered as I believe all 3 look fine, the M35 Combat Police looks particularly tasty. The pictures do not help the helmets though.

I note also a good return policy with this site.

                              Thanks To All!

Thanks to everyone for their insight. I was surprised at the condition of the helmets and curious on what the experts had to say on originality.

I know after one field problem my Kevlar looks like it just went through a meat grinder, let alone on what it looked like after a year deployment.

I guess my question is: Are there helmets out there that are known originals in that pristine of a condition?

                              Thanks again,
                              Pat
