Helmet opinion please

Hello helmet forum!

I wonder if anyone can please give me their opinions on the helmet pictured below.

I have a chance to buy this for around £30 as part of a swap deal.

Is it any good?

Norwegian postwar.

But 30£ is okay.

Sometimes the original germann paint is underneath the Norwegian paint, but not very often.
The Liner looks like the original germann liner which have been painted postwar. But it can easily be removed, usually the leather is very well preserved under the brown/red paint.

Hi,

I don`t like the color of this helmet, it looks like an early WH green, not the dark fieldgrey which was in use in the mid and late war times. The liner looks also not correct- loks more like an norwegian liner...
Just my two cents

Thanks alot everyone-that's a really quick answer.

I think I'll probably go for it then-might even cost me nothing as the seller is interested in some old toys I've kept since I was a child in the 70's(they've been sitting in my loft for years so I may as well use them to get my first helmet).
