Two M-40's Heer, w/ Decal Issues

These two M-40's while in all appearances are complete and both liners are named, they each have issues with the decals. Was hoping I could get some help with opinions/clarification on these. Thanks

#1 Marked "Q64" with a lot number of "*998". liner size "57" with rust covering the band date. The chinstrap is worn with an unreadable RBNr number. This decal looks as if it was torn during application. Still adhered well to the shell. Is this seen much or is something wrong here?

#2 Marked "ET66" with a lot number of "332". Liner band dated 1941 with no markings on the chinstrap. This one appears to have had a second decal applied. Is this just a poor job of covering a damaged first decal or is something wrong here. Thanks for looking and all comments/opinions welcome

Far from standard but very cool IMO! I like them a lot I just wonder how these would have
passed the quality control at the factory? Or perhaps they were re-decaled on the field?

The ET helmet could be a kriegsmarine before the reissue?
The bird seems gold, maybe for the photos

                  Both are nice!

odd but good BTW the second either is a ET reissue or a EF because the decal is a Pocher (not KM) ,could you check again please ?

Added a couple of pictures of #2. This one shows the ET shell marking, also appears to be named to two individuals. And just found the chinstrap markings on the short side of the strap, looks to be dated to 1940. Very hard to get a straight on shot of the decals without extreme glare but the first applied does have a golder tint than the second. Not claiming anything just looking for the best answer to it.

Thanks , try to take a much better close up (peculiarly the talons) because it could be a "ET" decal , on the other previous photo the eagle showed a feature of a Pocher but could be the angle

thanks , so for me it's a Heer Pocher and with the very few I can see under IMHO it could be a "ET" decal. As said the re decaled personnal application could be a good possibility

Thanks for all the comments. With the decal issues must say I was quite happy to find out the positive results!
