Normandy sawdust camo

Hi,
This one from a WW2 RAF mans house and sold to me by the son. He was a L.A.C. in Normandy in WW2 with a Typhoon squadron, there were photos and clippings of him there which unfortunately the son wanted back. Bought this and a bag of mixed German insignia, as well as his issued kit.
I saw one of the American members had this virtuallly identical camo on a M42 single decal last year. Nice clear stampings to the apron and unusually has a 300 batch number. Any ideas on this.

I remember this one sold quickly on your site, before I had the nerve to ask the price. Very nice.
However I also remember seeing that camo KM helmet you have for sale at auction recently, with the camo described as post war and no vet story behind it. I think that one may be a disappointment to you and I hope you still have the details of who sold it to you.
