    Need opinions on Luft M38 Paratrooper

    Need opinions on this Lutf Paratrooper....tell me what you are seeing. Is it a good one or should I pass? Sorry the pics are not great...I took them inside and the light seems to give the pics a more yellow tone.

        Man this is frustrating....the more I "learn"...the less I know. I am tyring to learn as much as I can as fast as I can...I know some of it is just experience and seeing lots of pots...but I am 0 for 2 the last couple of weeks. I had posted an SS M43 that I thought looked good...and it wasn't even close! Man I just feel stupid and like I am spinning my wheels...sorry for the negative rant!!

        Is this an old fake....I know the owner has had it for a number of years and I actually know the person who had it before that. Is it a common copy? What makes it bad....trying to learn

          I know it is frustrating, but this one is bad from the ground up. Shell, liner, straps, everything.

              Bad

              Real FJ helmets always have a smooth curve at the front of the helmet, when you look at its profile. Fakes always have this kind of sharp angle right there. That's how you dismantle this one at first sight.

                Thanks. I have spent the last three hours going over searches and reviewing old posts. Still have lots of questions. At this rate, I may be able to go from being totally ignorant to maybe a novice in about 10 years! I sure respect and appreciate all of you guys and your willingness to share your knowledge!
