          Winter camo's are scary but I don't see anything wrong with this one. Dave is a good dealer.

          I'd agree with oiled leather sometime in the past too.

                  I am no expert either but I would have a couple of questions.
                  What is the color of the inside of the helmet, in these pictures it looked to be a dove grey to me?
                  The wear didn't look like the wear normally encountered. Usually the top where the helmet is dropped on the ground is chipped off.
                  In the close-up pics, was that metal pitted? If so, I would find it a bit odd that the metal is pitted there but the leather, even though treated, is still in such good condition.

                  I am sure that many of these questions can be easily explained away. They just seemed curious to me.

                    The inside doesn't match the condition with the outside.
                    The inside looks like it has been cleaned / repainted or something. Hard to see from those pictures.
                    The white camo paint looks real & convincing though.

                      Thank you all for your replies! I have decided to go with a nice Para DAK Camo for $1000 more. I will post pictures in just a few! I am very excited!!!
