Several things aroused my suspicion. The placement of the decal, Rivet color and the lack of a dusty buildup beteween the liner and helmet. Also the decal lacks the finer details. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Too be honest, I had the same question regarding the lack of detail on the bird. I would like to have it in my hands to be sure.

Yes, that could be it. Photos look very different on my work computer in comparison to my home machine. I can never get the gamma setting just right on my home monitor.
