Help with identifying helmet!

Believe this is the Swiss Model M18-40.

The 1940 helmet was slightly lighter and had a lower visor than the previous model owing to the fact that the M1918 helmet had deeper side aprons, with a much increased visibility.

This helmet was used until the 1970's.

Thanks man it was really helpfull! On the liner was a tag with the writing "1940" (year of manufacture, probably)

Also of note is that in earlier models the inner liner band will run the full circumference of the inner helmet dome, the later models like yours will have the break in the band at the back......mike
