No re enactor worth his membership in a Soldat unit would be caught dead wearing these pieces of crap.

Interesting statement about seeing them on your site in the future.(even with the Fugly section) blurb.... Lets all click and save the pics, and see down the time line if they appear as genuine TR. :11doh

Who are you to make such an accusation? Do I even know you? Remember I said "I bought them to sell to reenactors, I would rather see them paint one of these instead of a good helmet". What part of "Fugly Molested Helmets" would you not understand?

These guys are really coming out of the woodwork lately.

Totally unnecessary attitude in that accusation. Even stripped original shells do have value. Seems like you have some nice restoration candidates there that someone would enjoy.

I know a guy that used to buy old stripped german shells from the Czech Republic's former "civil defense". He "restored" them to sell to reenactors. I guess that better rebuilt or remade than just painted black. The problem comes when someone tries to fool a newbie with one of these.

Oh my what a selection of rare helmets.
A black SS VT M35 as well!
              Kriegsmarine.
              Luftwaffe!
              Even a Feldernhalle!
              A batch of hilarious examples!
Funny thing, Jim you could send them to a certain website as consignment items LOL

Thanks for the support guys! The accusation was entirely out of the blue. I like to keep my customers and to do that you can't screw them.

Funny thing is the ugly helmets will probably be gone before I even list them. I have 2 people that want to take them all.

Well there are many that can't afford to have originals and don't mind having replicas, or in this case, "restored" helmets. I'm not one of them

Even banged up a bit they still shouldn't fool a newbie with any brains. I see no ethical problem with selling these.

Plus, a well known dealer/author makes "restorations", sold as that, that look 10X better than these.
