Maybe the hurrycane blew the helmet away. I thought I saw one flying by the house the other day. But they are common where I come from. Find them in the back yard all the time. Give him time to make up another one.

Virginia just got 14 inches of rain tonight from that hurricane. I could have sworn I saw SS M40 floating by. I'm sure it was a fake one though, must have been washing down from the Virginia Mountains. Anyone get my joke ??

Yes, I also noted this point about mine too ; the flat rivets topic in particular was IMO deadly interesting though ; anyway... But I think all of you will agree that what we lose in the militaria field is in general well balanced by what we gain in the fun area...

BTW, it reminds me we're still waiting for your school report on militaria, Zbiratelj ; please don't forget us !


PS : regarding SS helmets "flying around", I dunno about a hurricane, but I'm convinced a couple of african swallows is able to carry a M.40 helmet over the ocean.
