SS Helmet Opinions Please

Hi guys,
Any and all opinions on this helmet would be greatly appreciated. I'm an edged weapons person who has zero knowledge about TR headgear. I just recently purchased this with a grouping and was wondering what you all thought of it's originality.

I know the decals are beat-up but i'm hoping what's left will lend enough to determine authenticity.

Sorry Swordfish, those decals are as phoney as a three dollar bill.....They show no age(other than being artificially scored away)in comparison to the shell....And the decals appear to be switch around....

Agreed, very old fakes not close at all to an original.

That wear looks just like a waterslide tear.

I agree with Elvis. A bad water slide decal for sure
