    Hi guys,

I am no expert on WW2 helmets but I am interested in a helmet somebody offered me to buy. It is an M35 DD helmet apple green - with a memorial paint job at front - but where I need your expert opinions please are the decals. For me ymself they look good - but agaian - I am not good in WW2 helmets.

Please tell me if you like the decals.

    Thanks alot!

Looks like a good 'bigfoot' decal to me, is the shell a Quist? It will be marked by the ear 'Q64' 'Q66' etc. Pics of the markings and interior would be great for future reference.

Damage to the tricolour is strange but I think also good.

                  Hi guys,

thanks for your comments. The story about is that the helmet obviosuly really comes from private and looks good to me. It has a quite big battle damage at the back. The soldier survived it but did not take part anymore in war. He became very old and died just short time ago.

Just after some bad experiences - and many heared stories - I wanted to get some more feeback from collectors who are better in this topic than me.

I will post a couple of pics here in about 1 week.

                  Thanks!

Looks as if the soldier sewed his name on the inside of the liner.
