    M35 question

    OK WHATS UP WITH THIS HELMET , POST WAR DECALS ON A REAL M35 AND IT LOOKS LIKE THERE WAS A SINGLE DECAL REMOVED UNDER AND NEXT TO THE EDGE OF ONE OF THE DECALS .....

            What's your question? I think you answered all questions in your description, you have it in hand and can likely tell anything better than us from afar. Nice liner and strap, all the inside looks good but yes outside not too flash.

              Clean the outside carefully with acetone you might be' surprised. In any event you have nothing to in this conditions is pretty ugly.

                    This looks like a good project helmet. I couldn't resist removing that post war decal if it was mine. You might get a nice surprise.

                    I am really curious about the liner. Can you post some more pictures? It looks like there is a seam in both the front and back? I have seen a lot of spliced liners but NEVER one with two actual sewn seams. Maybe it is just the angle of the picture that makes it look that way??

                      Ok guys thanks I will put the acetone to the decals at work tomorrow and see what is underneath if anything at all . i will also post better pics of the liner ,John

                          Thats interesting! Looks like 2 seams for sure! Also, try soaking the decals with very hot water first, they may just come right off without having to use acetone. It might save you a big headache!
