HI guys,i don't know if this has already been covered but i came across this on another forum and thought i would share it.
This guy re paints hemets in any camo you want.he claims he can paint any german helmet in any camo scheme and fake aging on it.I don't know if he is any good as i am not a helmet collector but it must be worth keeping our eyes open.
    Cheers

    Hi David,

However - if I have the right guy - he also stamps each helmet with a mark to indicate that he has done a post-war paint job. This is apparently non-negociable and, if so, is very much to his credit.

This guy has been discussed before. I believe he is a decent guy and stamps (or is willing to) the helmets on the inside so that it will never get passed for an original. Although these look good I'm certain they still have many of the same tell tale signs that the other repros have. Somethings can't be faked.

Someone here has talked to him, right ?

I asked what kind of marking he uses to identify one of his creation as a fake:

He says that he stampes some numbers in the metal next to the makers stamp (zum Beispiel Q66)
