              Thank you for the feedback. Have any early or pre-war M-35s been seen with 'spliced' liners or were 'spliced' liners only a middle and late war thing? I need to go home and have a look at my Luftwaffe M-35, if I'm not mistaken it also has a 'spliced' liner.

                Do not recall seeing any M35's with a "spliced" liner, but many M40's and M42's with this feature.

                Did your M35 indeed have a "spliced" liner?

                  Had a look at my M-35. No, it does not have a 'spliced liner' just the normal seam in the centre of the liner.
