            Thanks to everybody who took the time to comment on the helmet, i have a quick question, the liner band is a singel band not a double band of aluminum are they any problems with that? Thanks for any help i can get.

              The answer is no. I would bet your liner band is dated 1937. Your helmet was made in 1938. You have a somewhat low lot number of 725. Helmets of that time frame had one or the other liner systems. Some had single liner systems, others had the re-enforced system. Your whole helmet is totally legit. Paint, decals, liner system. Nice helmet.
