LW M-40 Eagle & liner-OK??

I don't see any obvious red flags on the liner or bird. The chinstrap is a little odd though.

I think the chinstrap was a field repair but I don't know for sure.

Hi Irv

The inside look very nice. It look like is was painted with the early war blue-gray smooth paint. The outside paint is much rough,like a reissue helmet after 1940 look. I thought reissue helmets were painted inside too?.
I am not an expert though.

Hi Irv sometimes they just dont get it .If its not Monteeeeee Python it goes right over their heads ,Looks like the helmet is named as well ,which is nice.Rob

Yes it is named Rob. The liner is worn through about where the forehead is but it is still nice. It's got a nice 'been' there look about it.
