Wehrmacht DD Police Helmet Question

Hi,
I have a double decal police helmet sitting on display. I've seen these items fluctuate in value over the past few years. I'm not yet ready to part with it, but was curious as to what an honest value would be on today's market. I realize collectible items are for most part valued at what another individual is willing to pay, but there is a starting point. I'd be interested in what that starting point might be. Thank you in advance for your thoughts. This helmet does have a full liner, draw string and maker dome stamp. The left decal does display a good bit of wear.

I have seen some nice SS police helmets for sale lately but it always seems one the decals is banged up!
