Thanks for the nicer photos, it appears to be a good ET with serious lacquer toning probably how it interacted with the elements after being buried for so long, and chunks of lacquer have flaked off perhaps in a cleaning process.

There certainly appears to be a misapplication of the decal as evidence in the top left corner and it almost appears to be a second decal underneath - almost that is. Again probably some flaking from cleaning.

Anyway it looks good. BTW no offense take on my part whatsoever gentlemen, cheers. I don't believe there was any ill intent but good natured fun in the term "oracle." However next time I prefer the term The Human Torch or The Hulk, both were my favorite superheroes growing up LOL.

GEEEEZ Doug I learned something today. All this time I thought an "Oracle" was some big ocean going mammal of some kind. I guess it wasn't an insult.

Seeing as I recently bought , from an well respected digger ,and traded this helmet
Perhaps he would be as good to explain in public exactly what makes it a fake and to please post proof..

Unfortunately, I was surprised and annoyed to receive this message this morning.

The exact words were

" In my opinion a fake SS helmet. The decal is attached later...I mean recently.

They turned a worthless helmet in to a $$$ piece.

Again....I don't see any red flags on this helmet which reflects perfectly what the russian ground give us nowadays. I know too (not straight) Fraser and I think we have a common friend in Russia that, if he is the digger, this means that this helmet is 1000000000000% original.
