These photos were sent to me tonite, and I need some help to ID this helmet. Its an M-40 with some very strange insignia. These are the only photos I have so I hope you can make out the decals. I didn't know if this was some fantasy item or possibly some other country then Germany. It was found in a crawl space under a house, and as you can see its in terrible condition. The oval shield appears to be blue and yellow. On the other side of the helmet is what appears to be a yellow lighting bolt and a blue number 7 with 2 small yellow dots on both sides of the 7. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jon
