I've had this helmet for a few years, it's a Q shell , but i've always had doubts about the decal. I welcome all informed opinions. Thanks in advance........

Andy-as long as you can't feel a distinct 'lip' or 'ridge' to the edge of the decal it looks like a nice helmet. The only for sure fakes I've seen are of the cheap water slide variety-nothing like yours.

I have had a quist 35 luftskutze and this looks fine to me.The decal looks a bit large but i think its just the closeness to the camera.James/Ireland

My only comment is that the vents on the sides are embossed in the shell. That makes the helmet an M40. Other than that, it's a textbook M40 beaded Luftschutz helmet. Nothing wrong I can see.
