Painting near helmets: yes or not?

    Hi,

I want to repaint the door of a room that contains helmets. Can the thinner fumes do something to the helmets? I will open the windows, there wil be ventilation, but yet that smell, which will be present for a couple of days, can it impact the helmets in some way?

I don't know howmany helmets you've ,but I would cover them a bit or put them away..

On the other hand the thinner fumes will detect if there're some fake decals in your collection !

They just roll up and drop down ,like a Autumn leaf.............

Theo, how lazy can you get?? MOVE THOSE THINGS!!!! HAHA!!

Although, if you want to kill two birds with one stone, you can make a nice camo at the same time...

Oh yeah, 50 winter camos!!! I'll just cover them well, though as said will paint only a door and don't plan to make a paintparty out of it

Hey, if some dealers don't think it looks sketchy to have 50 "original" winter camos (all identical), why should you care... You could make a fortune.. Think about it..

Now I know why I have seen so many direct veteran pickup helmets with speckles of paint on them. They never asked Theodor's question!!!

Why don't you just take the door off and paint it out side

Dunno about the helmets, but regarding my cat, she seems a bit affected by what I smoke...
