To my eyes seems that the liner band is broken.
Could you please post a close up where is the arrow?
I am so suspicious.... I saw a lot of helmets repaired by collectors...Has the leather liner the correct "internal"alluminum band?
Is the liner matching the size of the reinforced alluminum band?
Sorry for these questions....Maybe I am wrong....
