look at the wire, it's the wrong twist for european chicken wire, American modern wire.

I'm not ofay on the clockwise or anticlockwise twists in chicken wire but the replacement liner should have sounded the first warning. Why would a helmet if genuine and in this condition require a new liner? surely the liner should have survived in similar condition. And I agree with Stephan, think this comes from Kampfgruppe McHappyMeals!!
