Is this one legit? It looks to me to be a good pocher that has been heavily touched up.

      10 points?

how does the painted over background on the decal affect the price of this helmet? assuming all else is in good untouched original condition.

not a pocher. its an ET, and yes i think it was listed as being real, just touched up.

            Yes ET, Yes touched up
Value much (much much) lower than an untouched one.

Real ET IMO, the touch up has to lower its value considerably, I would say turn a 7k helmet into a 5k helmet. Regards, Bill

I have seen it before as well, not sure where. I thought I saw one one time like that, where the white background was painted with glow in the dark paint, like what you see on a Feldgendarmerie gorget.

                  Fer sale on this site

Was reviewed on GHW a few weeks ago. Touched up ET decal, will affect value and I think is priced as such.

I remember seeing this one. A real shame about it being touched up. Fools...

You should try with oxalyc-acid ( little by little ) , on this case , you could easily find the decal without the bad paint on it it would be better than actually

Looks like the paint's as old as the helmet. Trying to remove it would do much more damage than good I would say.
