Markings seem to be some kind museum, theather , movie property markings. But still it is very good condition original helmet cover.

Good I wasn't sure. I was worried about the drawsting.

                    The drawstring is correct.
You can find white drawstring like here or drawstring made in camo material.

                      Not factory issue

Greetings : I HAVE to go against the majority. This cover could be field made or post war .(I lean towards post war) It is definitely not war time FACTORY issue. The stitching is too irratic and sloppy. Also the cloth panels that are sewn together should exhibit a uniforn double row of stitching on both the white side and camo side. Hard to explain, easy to see the difference. Here is one that is vet acquired.
                      Best Regards

Zeke , you can find both , single or double visible row , there is no rule and even with this maker you can find both . It's not the first I've seen this post war stamp and , even if the stitching is "unusual" , all the rest is conform to this maker so far .

Look at the white side of first shown here camo cover and you will see double row stiching .
