I believe this is a NSKK Helmet Emblem? I believe this is the 2nd pattern? It does look a little different to me as a 2nd pattern. Does it look original? Thank you for your help. JME

I don't know if that emblem is original or not. This is a picture of a second pattern crash helmet. Now you can compare it to your example.

I've seen this emblem on a helmet before and have seen it somewhere in a book also, but it is not the second type emblem as we know.
Maybe a variant?
