Hello, you might remember me as the plastic is fantastic helmet collector! lol
Well i was hell bent on getting a german pre 1945 helmet, no matter what the cost, except it had to be cheaper than a bag of crisps!
So i just bought myself a rusty monster of a german combat helmet for less than a FIVER!!
What id love to know is, what model shell is it, if you can tell from the photos.
I know its not the best example, but i had to start somehwere!
Anyway, back to my dance, yipeee, i actually now own a bloody german helmet!!!!!!! DONT LAUGH

Now there goes a happy man. I remember doing backflips for a week when I found my first real SS helmet. NOT!!! But anyway, it does appear to be an M42 raw edge. Now remember atomicmisfit (may I call you atom?) German helmets are like Lays Potato Chips, they're hard to stop at one. Happy Collecting. Bodes
Okay, now stop shopping on eBay, because eventually you will get ripped off. I guess getting ripped off at least once is inevitable. By not shopping on eBay anymore, it will simply prolong the inevitible...
