Helmet Mod 40 ET 62 with SS decal

I run into this helmet. I guess the helmet itself seems to be a good Mod.40 helmet. The domestamp fits the maker. The color is the same in and outside.However the decal could not be original. As i do not have much experience concerning fake decals i am posting this here. I would appreciate qualified opinions on that helmet. There are far more experienced members than me on here that will no doubt chime in, but for what it's worth I give this one a thumbsdown. I may well be wrong however, as my girlfriend regularly points out (usually not long after yet another 1 foot square box arrives on the doorstep...) I hope this is so

so many helmets turning up these days with dome stamps.... what was the ratio stamped something like 1:20 in batch or less?

Decal is bad...paint and dome stamp are probably bad as well.

I believe all helmets received a dome stamp its just that many have been rusted over, faded, worn off or are very lightly stamped.....that's the word on the street anyway.
