untouched M42 KM EF 64 rough and salty

Got this one from California recently. Seller told me that his father, a vet, brought it back from France but couldn't tell me more as he died in the early 60's.
Batch number is hard to read (begins with a 2 I believe), manufacturer nearly impossible to picture but that's clearly an EF 64.
Rough, salty, dented,and untouched.Note the home made strap to hang it on a wall.

Gold as gold can be, even without the head definitely an H and K KM decal.
