I'm looking to try to figure out what life it has lived. Looks like an M40 single decal army with grey-green paint. Later on a pea green cammo was applied and has mostly worn back to original color. I like the decal. The cammo looks a little funky(hand inspection desired) but I'd take a chance on it.

I like it very much! To me it looks like the helmet was lightly oversprayed with green camo paint, which has rubbed away in parts but still looks good. Nice liner and decal too...

Here's a question for all: How often do you all see zinc liners in M40s with square chinstrap bales? Unusual?
