Resistance Helmet

I believe this to be the actual helmet on page 380 of the "Baer" helmet book, credited to the Czech resistance, it is M35/40 and would have been a really nice Luftwaffe helmet if the eagle hadn't of been scratched off!!
1. Firstly does anyone have any info on these type of helmets.
2. Does it have any value or is it just a messed up German helmet.
3. Although it features in 'the' book does that make it right.

No offence taken, all comments grateully received, it was posted for discussion. Its been painted long enough for a photo of it to be in the "Baer" book (so thats just about 20 years), but I'm aware that doesn't make it right.

The helmet does look a lot the photo on page 380 of Baer, I must say. Too bad the photo is all washed out and black and white. The details look pretty convincing to me.

Yes I had a look its definitely the same helmet ,so it is 19 years old at least .the painting shows no age ,how strange! Rob

inside, stampings on shell Q66 and 8742, it doesn't appear the split pins have been off at any time, stamping on inside of leather B 59.

I did take all the photos in bright sunshine today, which might account for the brightness of the colours, whereas in real life they are rather grubby!
