SS Panzer Officer's M43 cap ( High Price?)

Hi,

Just a very, very quick question. I have been offered an SS Panzer Officer's M43 cap in very nice condition dated 1943 - maker marked (LA Co in large writing), size is unusual 58. Drill cloth lining. Insignia is one piece variety with two silver buttons on front.

It's price is GBP £995 (approx 1,400 USD) - is this to high/expensice?

I have been looking at other sites on the internet for a rough guide for ss panzer caps but cant find any for officers.

It's not my area but I do know enough to say if it's real and in the condition you say it's in that's cheap.

LaCo Is a well know fake marking, stay away from that cap!!!
