I picked this one up recently and was able to get it outside yesterday for some photos to share. It comes from the family of the veteran who brought it back; currently in the process of getting some more information on the soldier. The helmet is an NS64 with a lot number of D128, I can't make out a date on the liner band. On the left hand side the Heer decal is in great shape as is the factory paint job. The liner has unfortunately, suffered some damage and the chinstrap is missing except for where it attaches to the bales. It appears that this helmet could have been a "corpse cut" lid as the chinstrap appears to be cut and not broken on one end, also the staining in the liner looks as if it could be blood staining. Still a nice veteran bring back item that displays nicely. -Jeremy
