fallschirmjager helmet ?

Can somebody tell me if this is an original helmet from the FJ.
The seller claims he found the helmet in a pillbox in the Hurtgenforest ?

Very difficult to say from these pictures alone. It does look like it has heavy pitting which would corroborate his story but that can also be done artificially.
