M42 SD Helmet

Hi,

Please can I have some opinions on this on, sorry these are the only photos I have. To me it looks good, but then again I have limited knowledge when it comes to helmets. Any help would be great.

Hi Phil i would say the liners been out or replaced for sure
and the shell has possibly been scraped to remove a coat of paint
post war? who knows? and the chinstrap is not original to that
helmet,i'd be look'n for something better
