I had a fake very reminiscent to this once. Doesn't give me a good feeling but that could be just the association to that bad helmet.

Sometimes bad pictures tell you an item is good: not in this case.
Based on those pics I'd pass, better pics would maybe change my mind.
Maybe the angle but eagle looks weird to me.

Liner looks good to me, as also the inside paint. The oustside...looks as if they had brused some glue and powderd with fine sand... Needs more study or better photos.

Thanks for the comments - this is all i have for now..

At minimum the helmet has been cleaned and liner treated. Decal is real, could be wartime applied or post-war.
My advice would be to pass.
