Norwegian dyed chinstrap

Question for everybody: Does a Norwegian dyed chinstrap have any value? It's an early 1939 strap. Or is there anything that can be done to restore it?

Purchased it from a fellow forum member but didn't see the true colour in the photos.

If it does have value what would it be? Strap is in otherwise great condition.

Adam RELAX, its just a strap, hell you just bought a SS visor.

Its a dyed one for shure.
You can remove the "paint" whit a thinner , just make shure to treat it whit acidfree vaseline after you done it so it wont dry up.

I agree it's got the Norg red paint on it. Use acetone. It won't hurt the leather and it will look like it was never there. Done it before with no problem.

Okay thanks for the advice guys. Maybe I'll give the acetone a try.
