What could I have Here?

I can't post pics yet but I have a Camo, brown, green, Tan over Luftwaffe grey blue. No liner. It is marked ET66 #2747 I can faintly see reminents poking through paint cracks of an ET party shield on the right side! I can't see anything that would give me a clue through the paint on other side. But there is definatly a decal buried under the paint. What could I have there? Is this a possible police helmet or? Thanks...Geo.

I will end up taking the helmet to the Chicago Military Collectibles Show here in November. Hope that Bill Mertz or Ken Narowitz might be there. It's a pretty good show but I'd like to see more helmets.
