Here is a very interesting helmet. The boring facts: ET66 with lot # of 145.
What makes this interesting is the liner and paint.
The liner is obviously Italian. Spacers were inserted in the front two pin holes in order to fit the liner band securely. I have taken some photos of the configuration--very interesting. No spacer is in the rear.
The paint appears to be the grey paint seen on KM helmets. The grey paint is over a factory green paint. The grey paint appears to have been applied after the helmet was worn for an extensive period of time.
The patina "looks" much different than other helmets I have--I believe as a result of being near sea air.
I am interested in your thoughtful opinions.
Many thanks!!!
