Thanks all for your input. I actually have not met her yet but will pursue it ASAP. There are always pictures and it would be great to get even some copies. Whitefeather you are right, I spoke (or typed) without thinking. The feldpost number written in the liner looks like 2941 which doesn't quite make sense as it was assigned to a LUftwaffe unit in 1944.
