Well - this weekend started out with the first yard sale having several families join together. They were all related and when I pulled in, I asked about military items.
Within 5 minutes, I was holding a 1942 dated byf Luger in the holster, a WWI Colt .45, a transitional DD Heer helmet, an Ordts level Political Leaders armband and several other items.
It was all I could do, but the family wanted to keep the German things their father, who fought in the 30th div??, brought home.
I did get these, complete with history of the man who carried them.
I know these are not helmets, they're firearms. There "WAS" a German helmet in the group.... so I stretched it all out to share this here.
(Mods... sorry if I breeched protocol).
