M18 DD Heer

Hi All.

I only have two trannys left in my collection, here is one of the keepers,
an M18 DD Heer.

Got it here in Sweden, but was traded/given away from the Norwegian defence museum back in the 80´s.

IN the first photo it looks like a square see through border is part of the decal. What is it? They look like water slides to me...

William, it is just laquer over the decals. But try to tell Ståle that it is water transfer decals. Maybe he will sell you the helmet.

I don't knwo much about decals but I thought that the dry transfers were a lot thicker then the Water slide repros. The damage on the Eagle just makes it look like it was a thin water slide. At any rate too bad someone coated it. Or do you guys think that was done war time?
