M40 SD KM (I believe)

Not big on helmets but I have what I believe is an M40 having, what I believe is, a gold decal. I've not cleaned off the dust let alone any scuffs from this. Heck, I wouldn't know what to use to clean it anyway.

The photos were taken outside, on a nice day. I would welcome opinions on whether I'm seeing a KM decal here as well as any other factoids anyone might share. Where I'm not a helmet guy this will likely end up on the stand, so I don't want to misrepresent it.

Well, Heer it is then. Thanx guys for the comments & info.

Paul was kind enough to relate a factoid I wasn't aware of that "SE was notorious for using a laquer sealer that turns the decals very gold toned" Now I know something of a manufacturer that I wasn't aware of. Thanx Paul - thanx everyone.
